En Pointe provided design, and architectural services to create an environment based upon a Microsoft / Wintel platform. This new environment included 38 new active directory file servers split into Production, Development and a Mirrored site.

A 10 terabyte SAN provided bulk storage and NSI Double Take was used for transaction duplicating to the Mirrored site. Data and mail migrations were completed and Altiris Client Management Suite was implemented to ease infrastructure management. Disaster recovery, operations documentation and Project Management were also included in En Pointe’s project deliverables. The final environment consists of 3 clustered Exchange Servers, 3 clustered SQL servers, 6 WEB servers, 6 Sharepoint servers, 6 Active Directory servers, backup servers, ISA / Proxy servers, and BIG IP for load balancing of WEB servers.
